When the lizards are soaking up the suns rays on a fence, bench etc. The best way to catch them is to get a plastic sandwitch box and push it through under the gap where the lizard is basking. They will instictively jump and land in it. You will catch every time as long as you are quick enough and the lunch box is big enough! This is our own method that has been tried and tested for 3 years and it works perfectly!!

A sandwich box works well but you could always use any other deep, steep sided walled container like a Roses tin or bucket if the gap is big enough. You can anything that fits those specification otherwise your precious lizard will get away!
